There is something so satisfying about hitting the open road with nothing but yourself, your thoughts, and your bike. It is a critical part of my life, so having my bikes properly maintained is equally critical.
Therein lies the problem: maintenance. There has always been a huge disconnect for me between having a bike maintained and trusting that your mechanic maintained your bike properly. Typically, you get mechanics that range from “fresh out of high school” to “ready to retire”. That range can sometimes make people extremely uncomfortable, which leads to little or no confidence that the work was done right and your bike will perform as it should.
That is where OCD Bicycles comes in. OCD is a maintenance-only bike facility that specializes in high-end bicycles builds, where even the smallest details matter. OCD was created for people who, like me, are OCD and want the highest quality, most confidence-inspiring bicycle on the road. From the casual rider to the most advanced racers, OCD has you covered.
A little about me, I am a licensed, professional mechanical engineer with a crazy passion for bicycles. Not only have I designed components like these for a living, but I am also equally competent in assembling these components. I have designed everything from space satellites to nuclear power reactors. So, ask yourself, would you rather put your confidence in the high school kid whose biggest concern is cranking out as many bikes as he can before his shift is over, or the skilled craftsman who takes his time and goes above and beyond to make sure everything that leaves his shop gets the engineers touch?
